People love to say gearing in Midnight is all about luck, but that's only half true. The bigger difference is usually judgment. Before you spend mats, sparks, or a pile of gold, stop and ask what the item is really doing for you. If it's a piece you'll replace after one reset, it's probably not worth the push. If it can carry you through several weeks, that's a different story. A lot of players rush into upgrades because they want that quick hit of progress, then regret it when a dungeon drop beats the craft two days later. That's why some players plan around value first, and even keep options open with u4gm when they'd rather save time than grind endlessly for one more craft.
